Congratulations Shiva!! On January 9th, 2024, Shiva successfully defended her Master’s thesis in the Collaborative Biostatistics program. Her thesis is entitled “Statistical Investigation of Prevalence and Incidence of High Blood Pressure among Rural Residents of Saskatchewan”. Well done! Shiva Naseri, a recent graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics. During her time at USASK, Shiva focused on advanced statistical methodologies, particularly longitudinal data analysis and survival analysis within the context of rural population health. Her research not only showcased proficiency in applying statistical techniques but also highlighted a passion for contributing to the advancement of knowledge in biostatistics. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Shiva was honored with the School of Public Health graduate scholarship and received a stipend for her remarkable research during her academic journey.
