On September 12th, 2023, Guang successfully defended her PhD dissertation in the Epidemiology program. Her dissertation is entitled “Studies on Aging and Mental Health in Canada” Well done!
Guang’s doctoral research was dedicated to the exploration of aging and mental health issues among Canadian older adults. Over the course of the five-year PhD program, Guang authored several research papers and actively participated in numerous social and academic activities.
In addition to her academic pursuits, she proudly served as the Vice President of the Chinese Students’ & Scholars’ Association (CSSA) at the University of Saskatchewan. These experiences have enriched her time at the University and have deepened her appreciation for both the academic journey and life in our vibrant community.
