The First Annual SPHSA Pie-A-Prof event
Thursday, April 2nd 2026 marked the First Annual SPHSA Pie-A-Prof fundraiser for the School of Public Health Students Society. Much pie was both thown and caught!

The brave pie recicpients were:
Dr. Michael Szafron
Dr. Khrisha Alphonsus
Dr. Barb Fornssler & Dr. Holly McKenzie
Dr. Thilina Bandara
Mr. Nick Neudorf (President of the SPHSA)
The popularity of this event almost led to disaster, however, when it transpired that three cans of whipped cream were not enough to satisfy the pie-throwing urges of the SPH public. However, the quick thinking of event organizers saved the day, as they obtained an industrial-sized container of yoghurt from a nearby Food Services outlet!
The pie-ing continued, and much funds were raised for the SPHSA!
