On June 26th, 2026, Priyanka successfully defended her thesis in the Master of Public Health under the supervision of Dr. Khrisha Alphonsus. She is a medical doctor from Bangladesh. Her research examined the association between anxiety disorders and alcohol use disorder using Canadian population-based data. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her research interests focus on mental health epidemiology.
