Master of Public Health Poster Fair 2014

On October 24, 2014 the School of Public Health held its annual Master of Public Health (MPH) Poster Fair in the D-Wing Atrium, Health Sciences Building. The event was open to the public and attendees ranged from students and field supervisors to U of S faculty and staff. Sixty-two MPH students presented posters summarizing the work completed during their practicum experience.The posters were the culmination of twelve weeks of hard work and the commitments between the School’s students and the practicum field sites.

Judges for the event were Dr. Lalita Bharadwaj, Dr. Marwa Farag, Dr. John Moraros (SPH); Dr. Daniel Fuller (CH&E), Dr. Marko Kryworuchko (WCVM).The MPH practicum posters were of the highest calibre, making the selection of the top three a challenge. After much deliberation, the judges awarded first place to Nooran Afzal (practicum with the Saskatoon Health Region), second place to Cai-lei Matsumoto (practicum with the Sunrise Health Region), and third place to Jung-In Choi (practicum with the WHO-Geneva).
